Don't you love how the NFL lets all of the off-season news trickle in so that there is almost always something to talk about, something to keep your mind on the best sport known to man? First they let you know which teams you will be playing, and wait a month to tell you when and where.

Well, the wait is over. Here is your 2009 Schedule:

The Chargers opponents in 2009 had a combined winning percentage of .484 last year, putting them at 17th for strength of schedule. Of course we all know this means little considering the changes in scheduling year to year. The teams that played the AFC West and NFC West last year had bloated schedules, while other's playing leagues like the NFC East and NFC South which meant the wins were harder to come by.

This year the Chargers get the NFC East and the AFC North, which is just about as bad as it gets. They won't be able to crawl into the playoffs this year, but this team is talented to win any game on the schedule.

I have to say, the tough games are spread out. There shouldn't be any trouble finding rythm and running off some streaks. Based on the teams the Chargers have to play and where they have to play, the schedule plays out pretty nicely.

It is a very tough schedule, but think about this, the toughest looking schedule last year was held by the Steelers who parlayed that into a Super Bowl title.
